OFFICE HOURS:
Appointment times are Monday through Thursday. All sessions are by appointment only and are 50 minutes long.

PAYMENT:
As my rates are adjusted over time, please contact me if you are interested in beginning psychotherapy, analysis or consultation and we can discuss current fees and questions about payment. I offer a few patient hours at reduced rates for those in financial hardship. All fees are due at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Once you have an appointment, forty-eight hours advance notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments without being charged in full for the time.

INSURANCE:
Your psychotherapy services may be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I am not on any health insurance panels; however, many insurance companies will reimburse partial fees for "out-of-network providers." I will provide you with regular receipts to submit to your insurance company for this purpose.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY:
The relationship between a client and a psychotherapist is protected by law and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions are rare but include:

• Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
